WHEELS - your wheels are some of the most important components on your bike, having a huge effect on speed, weight, handling and overall performance.
Upgrading to a lighter wheelset will lower the rotational weight, improving acceleration and giving you a speed advantage – but some riding disciplines will require tough and burly wheels that can take plenty of punishment and still roll true. The ideal wheelset for you will offer the correct balance of light weight, strength and durability for your preferred riding discipline, at a price that suits your pocket.
All wheels share characteristics in common, consisting of hubs, spokes and a rim, while rear wheels are also a key component in your bike’s drivetrain and will in many cases be required to deal with more stress than the front.

Spoke Head Height: 6.2 mm Diameter D1: 2.0 mm Diameter D2: 1.8 mm Diameter D3: 2.0 mm
Technology:
Double Butted: These spokes have two different diameters. The spoke is partially butted by cold forging. As a result, the diameter is smaller and thus enables a reduction in weight while at the same time improving the strain values.
Application: MTB, Road, City & Touring Material: brass Diameter: 2.0 mm Lengths: 12, 14 or 16 mm
Features:
- DT Pro Lock® increases the lifespan of a wheel - contains an integrated screw locking system - two-component adhesive in the nipple thread prevents the spoke-nipple connection from loosening due to the operating load and thus ensures consistent spoke tension - can be used with all wheels where reliability, safety and load capacity are required - square-milled - ultralight - suitable for mechanical and manual wheel construction - patent pending - 100 % swiss made
Technology:
DT Pro Lock®: In the Pro Lock® process, a patented two-component adhesive fluid is injected into the nipple thread, resulting in an extremely durable wheel design. By screwing the nipple onto the spoke, the adhesive is activated and begins to harden. With Pro Lock®, the wheel can be re-tightened at any time with only a slight reduction in the screw-locking function.
- J-bend blank spoke - Chrome nickel stainless steel without threads - Straight gauge 2.0mm with cold forging technology - Nipples are no longer included with DT Swiss spokes
The straight pull version of the DT Champion® shines with even greater reliability and typical DT Swiss strength. In the 2.0 mm version, the DT Champion covers the entire spectrum from road to gravity MTB.
Straight Pull: In order to achieve an ideal weight/stability ratio, many DT Swiss wheels use different kinds of straight pull spokes. Straight pull spokes do not need a spoke bend and thus eliminate a weak point. Nevertheless, they can be trued and replaced with standard tools.

One of the most versatile spokes in the DT Swiss range. The special strength of the DT Competition® is derived from its butting. This makes it extremely strong and, thanks to the thinner central part, 62 g lighter than a spoke with a continuous diameter. The well-balanced stability/weight ratio of the 2.0 mm version allows for versatile use.

DESCRIPTION:
The Flow MK4 wheelset lets you do more. Since 2007, there's a reason the best riders in the world have come to us to ask for Flows. Corner harder, send it further, and carry more speed through any section of trail. Today's Flow MK4 gives you the control you need to push boundaries.
The Flow MK4 rim's patented BST-Asymmetric shape creates the most reliable tubeless seal. The rim's durable 6069 alloy construction and reinforced spoke bed, combined with the offset drilling of the asym design, builds into an incredibly durable wheel that brings added confidence to every ride. Strength and serviceability are long-standing priorities of every Stan’s wheel, and the Flow MK4 wheel takes those priorities further than ever before. The asym rim design allows for a single spoke length to be used on both the front and rear wheels. As with all Stan’s wheels, traditional J-bend spokes and lacing are used for their proven strength, ride quality, and serviceability.
The M-pulse hubs at the heart of Flow MK4 wheels combine an absolutely bombproof magnetic locking engagement with incredibly smooth rolling. Based on the original innovative Project321 engagement system, the speed and durability of this system is unmatched. Unlike weaker pawl and spring designs, the M-pulse features six pawls with Neodymium magnets that offer virtually no resistance when coasting, but lock the pawl teeth into place far more reliably and consistently than springs. Each detail of the M-pulse hub was engineered to systematically eliminate weaknesses found in other designs. The 17mm axles are made of 7075 aluminum and roll on Enduro brand bearings, including a double-row freehub bearing tested to be far more durable than two individual separate bearings. The entire hub is also shielded, meaning no bearing seal is visible, offering superior protection for all conditions. With only 1.66°of rotating required for the M-pulse hub to engage, power is always instantaneous. Multiple tooth engagement provides a greater surface area to distribute load to improve both durability and speed. The angle of the pawls was even optimized to distribute stress away from the rotating bearings. Beyond the strength and speed of engagement, M-pulse hubs feature adjustable preload, allowing a tremendous decrease in drag for less resistance and more speed.
Available with Shimano Micro Spline, HG, or SRAM XDR freehub, and 6-bolt or Centerlock brake style, with options to fit all popular axle configurations.Tubeless ready with rim tape installed.
Wide, light, strong, and tubeless, the original Flow redefined what a mountain bike rim could do. Today's Flow MK4 gives you the confidence to do even more.

TheDT Swiss Wear Control®shows the extent of rim wear. It is compliant to the European standard.
Tubeless compatiblerims can be converted for tubeless use with the help of a tubeless kit.
The rim is recommended up to 110 kg of system weight.
The 50mm depth lends itself to racing, focusing more strongly on aerodynamics than the 38mm option.
As a daily wheelset it is suitable if you live in an area that isn’t prone to high winds.
Of course, if you’re an experienced rider and used to running deep section wheels, you can choose to use the GMR 50 in any conditions.
The GMR 50 Tubeless Disc-Brake is optimized for wide tires with lower tire pressure to meet the performance needs of modern riders in search of low rolling resistance and high compliance. With an internal width of 19mm, the wheelset is well suited for rough roads and tests fastest with a 28mm tire in the majority of wind angles.

Details of the Vision SC 55 Disc Carbon wheelset
The SC 55 Disc Carbon is equipped with 21 spokes at the front wheel and 24 Aero Blade spokes at the rear wheel in 2:1 spoking in order to optimally withstand the increased deceleration forces caused by disc brakes. The tension of the rear spokes is thus strongly balanced, which leads to an improved longevity. However, if the rider weighs more than 90 kg, it is recommended to check the wheels and their components regularly and to have the bike inspected more frequently than normal.
The freewheel hub is made of a soft and light alloy – therefore it is not possible to use cassettes with single large teeth that are not on a carrier. An XDR freewheel hub is also available for the SRAM 1×11 and 1×12 drivetrains.
Vision Tech SC 55 Disc Carbon wheels are considered fully tubeless compatible even when supplied with rim tape for standard clamps. A tubeless kit with valves and special tape will be available separately.
